So I woke up with a fever this morning. I think I may have caught it last night. It makes sense, having stood outside in the cold and mist with a crowd of people at 11PM huddling around a snow filled Christmas wonderland. You guys I caught the bug, I have Bieber fever!
We got wind of Franklin’s famous little visitor- Mr. Justin Bieber-yesterday afternoon via...
The wheels on the bus go round and round

Hey everybody! Hope you all had a great weekend. Ours was delightful, and the Fall weather was crisp and very much welcomed. We were able to enjoy it from three different venues this weekend— thanks to my parents for allowing me to leave 12 hours early from their visit to hop on the Kutless bus.
A few things I can say about my weekend: first time into Canada...
The Newells in Nashville

My parents just left yesterday, and what a wonderfully fattening week we had. I felt like the majority of what we did was eat. Hey we’re in the South, it’s what you do here. After a visit to Maniac’s (our FAVORITE lunch spot), The Loveless Cafe (famous for it’s biscuits and country ham), white chicken enchiladas in the de Partee living room,...
Happiest place on Earth

We were so blessed to be able to go down to Orlando for a festival called Night of Joy at the Magic Kingdom this past week. Never thought I’d get to watch Nick play a show next to Space Mountain. Did I mention I loved my husband’s job? He’s gone a TON, but God has ways of making up for that. We got to spend 5 days together and a few of those were...
God’s firework show trumps Epcot’s any day.
Coco & Katie's wedding
Tuesday, September 6, 2011— realized there’s no dates on my posts. Today I start!
Nick had the privilege of standing by one of his best buds as a groomsmen in his wedding on Labor day. Corey (aka “Coco”) has done merch for Kutless for about 2 years now, and he has become one of our favorite people:) Sadly we will be losing him come the end of September, but he’s...
A day in the life
Whenever people find out what my husband does for a living I am bombarded with tons of questions about “the road.” How often is he gone? How do you handle being away from him? Do you get to go with him? What’s life like on a tour bus? Where do you sleep? Is it pretty cool being married to a rockstar?— my personal favorite haha
Well this weekend, I got a very up close view...
Is it God's wilderness or yours?
Ok… It’s time to get serious. I thought about postponing this post until the end of the weekend. You know, spread them out a little, but I couldn’t wait. This is what God is teaching me, and I want to share it.
I have apparently fooled many of you into thinking that my 2,372 mile move across the U.S. has been easy. Letting you in on a little secret here… it hasn’t...
"Susie Homemaker"
I think one of the more exciting facets of marriage (for the woman that is) is being able to become the maker of the home. I’ve been pinning up a storm on Pinterest, collecting decor ideas, recipe ideas, DYI ideas, and the list goes on. Starting these pinboards wasn’t nearly as fun when I was living in my parent’s house (no offense Mom), because I had no outlet. However, when we...
