Happy 31st Anniversary Mom & Dad!
Happy Anniversary Mom & Dad! You’re 52 and you did it (Newell inside joke)! What an incredible gift to have parents who love each other so much and have worked so hard to be married. I know now for myself that marriage is not easy, and I’m so glad that I have such an awesome example of a godly marriage to turn to when Nick & I face tough stuff. Here are a few things that I love about you two, that I KNOW have contributed to your marriage’s longevity.
1. You have not lost the spark. You still adore each other, and it’s obvious to everyone around you.
2. You have FUN together… STILL!
I always love hearing about your days off, because you always spend it together going on fun drives and little adventures.
3. Dad you lead, and Mom you follow.
Even when it comes to phone choices… what a good teacher you are Dad:) You have created an instagramming machine!
4. Lastly, you’re friends.
(For those of you who don’t know, I have been collecting photos of them like this for a bit now, and plan to get a hundred more of them. I think it’s SO SO cute. These photos completely sum up their relationship. It’s precious. Sorry Mom, you probably aren’t stoked I’m posting them haha).
And my all time favorite…
I love you Mom & Dad. Thank you for loving our family and most of all for loving each other. You’re two of my favorite people in this universe, and I’m so glad God put you two together. You make one dynamic duo. I miss you guys like crazy (as usual). Still counting down… I think it’s 47 days! Can’t wait to see you.
